How Tools 4 STARS Supports Applicants
1. Submit a Request
Individuals or families complete a short intake form explaining their need, the tool or technology being requested, and how it would improve daily life.
2. Review and Verification
Our team reviews each request carefully. When needed, we may ask for additional information to better understand the applicant’s disability, need, or requested item.
3. Funding and Partner Support
Approved requests may be funded through Tools 4 STARS program funds, donor contributions, partner support, product donations, discounts, or trusted affiliate relationships.
4. Tool Delivery
Once approved and funded, we purchase or secure the requested tool and ship it directly to the applicant whenever possible.
5. Follow-Up and Impact
After delivery, we follow up to learn how the tool is helping and how the program can continue improving access for others.
Building Access Through Community and Partnership
Tools 4 STARS is funded through program budgeting, donations, partner support, and affiliate relationships with trusted companies that provide accessible tools and technology.
When affiliate links are used, proceeds are reinvested into the program to help fund future tool requests.
This allows us to support individuals directly while also building a sustainable resource network for families seeking assistive tools.
