Tools 4 STARS provides access to assistive tools, technology, and resources for individuals affected by TAR Syndrome and other rare genetic limb differences.

Our mission is to unlock ability and promote independence by connecting individuals and families with tools that make everyday life easier and more accessible. These tools may include items such as dressing aids, reach assistance devices, adaptive utensils, hygiene supports, mobility aids, accessible technology, and more.

In addition to providing direct support, Tools 4 STARS offers guidance and information to help individuals independently discover and obtain tools that fit their needs. We partner with trusted companies and utilize affiliate programs to expand access, with proceeds reinvested to help sustain and grow the program.

Individuals may submit requests through our intake and review process, where each application is carefully evaluated based on need and potential impact. Approved requests are fulfilled through a combination of program funding, donor support, and partnerships.

Through this approach, TARS STARS ensures that individuals and families have access to practical solutions that improve quality of life, increase independence, and empower them to reach their full potential.

Parent/Guardian Consent Agreement

By submitting an application to the Tools 4 STARS program, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. I am the parent or legal guardian of the child identified in this application.

  2. I voluntarily authorize TAR STARS LIMITED d/b/a TARS STARS (“TARS STARS”) to collect, review, process, and temporarily store the information submitted as part of this application.

  3. I understand the submitted information may include personal or sensitive materials, including photographs, educational records, medical documentation, or other eligibility-related information.

  4. I understand this information will be used solely for purposes related to:

  • Determining eligibility;

  • Administering the Tools 4 STARS program;

  • Communicating with me regarding the application; and

  • Maintaining program security and integrity.

  1. I understand that sensitive uploaded materials are generally deleted and removed from active systems after review and processing are completed unless retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution.

  2. I understand electronic transmission and storage involve inherent risks and that no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

  3. I certify that all information submitted is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.

  4. I understand submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the Tools 4 STARS program.

  5. I agree to the TARS STARS Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
